What a busy week we have had. We've been exploring maths games. Discovering how to play them, what equipment we will need and also identifying what maths skills we have been learning whilst playing. Also this week, we have been refreshing our skills on Mathletics. Remembering our passwords and familiarising ourselves again with the site. I have been really impressed with how nicely everyone has worked this week. You are all sensational!
We have discussed, at length, the importance of being cyber safe. To support our learning we use Skooville, which is a fantastic site that aims to educate children about cyber safety. This week we have been working on gaining our Skooville Stars.
With all the excitement of the Cricket World Cup it has been fantastic having some cricket skills training. We have been taught some basic batting and catching skills. One particular activity was really tricky. Try covering your right eye with your left hand, and with your right hand throw and catch. You'll quickly discover that distance is hard to judge making the ball hard to catch.
High fives all around!
